Leadership - It's about people

Leadership - It's about people

Communication is about getting a message across, and leadership relies on effective communication. Your job as a leader is to deliver your message in a way that is not just understood, but in a way that gets the intended response.

Make sure your meaning is being heard, be confident that your communication ensures understanding.

This workshop works exclusively with the area of knowing how you are seen heard and experienced. You could call this ‘feedback’ but in this workshop you will largely be able to work it out for yourself. Often there are aspects of our leadership that fall into an area we could call “our blind spot.” A blind spot is simply how others see you that you are unaware of. This is definitely in the area of “you don’t know what you don’t know.”

There is a common a modern saying that goes “What others think of you is none of your business.” This may be true when sitting in church. It may be true when sitting on a plane. It may even be true when walking down the street. But it is never ever true when working as a leader.

You need to know how you are seen and experienced otherwise you wont know if your message is getting through. You wont know if anyone has actually, really, understood you.

Learn the essential tools for:

  • checking your understanding of others

  • checking your understanding of yourself

  • developing ways of knowing how you are seen

  • developing confidence in how you are impacting others

  • be able to plan your communications rather than leave it to chance

This workshop has been specifically designed for people who work in a leadership capacity whether as a team leader, unit leader, shift leader, project leader or other leadership capacity.
